To me, the act of drawing is akin to writing poetry. These figures are my poems on paper, poems that are expressed through sparse, unbroken lines and the spaces they permit between them.
The outer lines in these drawings represent the human body, while the inner meandering structure signifies the spirit, its joys and turmoil, past and future. The cursive lines on white space symbolize intention, while the unoccupied sections between the lines signify the emotions of each piece.
